Dear all
I recently shared by email two documents/resources from the Patient Centricity team, and a few people have suggested that I also share on HR Insider so that they’re easy to find again in the future. Thanks for the feedback and the helpful advice 😊
The documents were:
- The Patients & I bulletin – here – from which I’ve pulled the Top Tips slide attached as a particularly helpful resource for HR
- The Patient Centricity Message House – Â here
- Designed as a document to inspire and act as a guide for everyone to embrace and discuss patient centricity, regardless of role. Julie Wong from the patient centricity team has helped me create an elevator pitch based on the overarching statement and 3 pillars in the message house:
- At Ipsen, our guiding light is that we work with patients for patients (‘with’ emphasizes our collaborative approach and ‘for’ our desire to make a meaningful difference to their lives)
- We strive to involve the patient community as early as possible when starting to develop new medicines and projects (emphasizes should always ‘think patient’ and not solely HCP or limited stakeholders in decision-making)
- Building long-term relationships with patients and patient organizations is key so together we can drive lasting change for people living with cancer, rare diseases, and neurological conditions (highlights the value of a strategic focus on long-term not just quick wins and need for strong relationship/ reputational awareness)
- We listen to patients then act to bring Ipsen science to life ensuring our scientific discoveries will address their’ needs (highlights need for a laser focus on using insights to inform plans/ stakeholder & ‘customer’, this case ‘patient focus’).
Kind regards
