Dear colleagues,

It is with mixed feelings that I announce that Jordana SEKULA has decided to leave Ipsen to pursue another external opportunity. I want to warmly thank Jordana for her contribution over the last 4 years.

To support our ambitious Integrated Talent strategy, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Serena DEMPSEY as Head of Talent Operations as of January 1st, 2023. Serena is succeeding to Jordana and will report to me.

Serena will be part of the Global Talent Team and will be responsible to design and execute on transversal operational programs and projects that enhance Talent Organization excellence in execution. She will be responsible for driving operational excellence and will support the Talent team with systems and processes, data reporting and analysis, budget planning, operational workforce planning, vendors selection and talent tools optimization.

She will partner closely with Finance and Procurement, HRIS, IT and the COEs within HR to improve processes and systems that enable Ipsen to fulfill its talent plans.

Serena graduated with a first-class honors degree in Geography from the University of Southampton and then started her career in website design and marketing, before moving to Ipsen in 2016, first as an external partner and then as a permanent employee in 2018, to support the Wrexham site with recruitment. Since then, she has progressed to recruit roles globally, as well as led several projects including Early Talent programs, external workforce management and recruitment improvement initiatives. She has taken a short-term assignment as a Global L&D Program Manager in March 2022 and has learned the holistic talent management process.

Please join me in warmly congratulating Serena for her new role and wishing the best to Jordana in her new professional project.

Fabienne ASTIER

Global Head of Talent
