Dear colleagues,

As part of our strategy, Focus Together for Patients & Society, we continue to develop and strengthen our organization. We also believe internal mobility is key to the development of our talents, and we are delighted to announce the following promotion:

Effective March 1st, 2025, Abbie POUND, currently Culture and Engagement Director, is nominated Global Medical Governance Director. Abbie will report to Moncef BOUKERROU and will remain based in London, UK.

In her new role, Abbie will be accountable for the overall governance of the different strategic Medical Programs within Global Medical Affairs, including the identification, harmonization, and optimization of our Excellence in Execution, Processes, SOPs, Policies and Guidance documents. Her role will include a clear interface with regional and local medical affairs to ensure alignment, governance and compliance. She will also be accountable for ensuring that the Global Medical governance boards are well defined and well managed to ensure appropriate planning, prioritization, conduct, tracking, and reporting of core medical activities.

Abbie joined Ipsen at the beginning of 2018 as Global Medical Publications and Communications Director in the Global Medical organization before joining Human Resources in September 2021. We look forward to welcoming her back to Medical!

Abbie is a graduate in Biology and Psychology and has previously worked in publishing (Senior Editor at The Lancet), medical communications (Managing Director at Succinct, Sudler and then Darwin), and in the pharmaceutical industry here at Ipsen.

Virginie SERVIERE currently Head of Talent Management and L&D, will take over Abbie’s responsibility for Culture and will be supported by Chantelle Lejeune, Culture Engagement Manager. Virginie and Chantelle will ensure a smooth transition with Abbie until mid-March and will further enhance Ipsen culture evolution agenda, leveraging the Talent Management (TM) and Learning & Development (L&D) parts to generate positive synergies.

Please join us in thanking Abbie for her commitment and contribution to Culture and Engagement at Ipsen and on congratulating her on her new role.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Virginie on her role expansion and the new responsibilities she will assume.
