Dear colleagues,
We would like to inform you about several updates coming to iPeople on September 22. These changes include both new release features and ongoing improvements. You can find more details and screenshots here: Changes to iPeople – Sept 2025 – Communication to HR team.pdf.
General Updates to Navigation and Interface (for all users)
- The ‘Your top apps’ section on the homepage will be removed and replaced by a new persistent navigation menu on the left side of the screen. This menu remains visible as you navigate through iPeople.
- The Recruiter-specific menu previously shown on the left will also be replaced by the new navigation menu, which now includes a dedicated Recruiting section.
- iPeople will adopt the new Ipsen branding colors where applicable.
- The employee profile layout has been updated for a refreshed look
Manager-Specific Enhancement
- Managers will now have access to additional compensation details for their team, including:
- Salary increase history
- Bonus history
- One-time payments
(Note: Grade and salary range remain hidden.)
Changes for HR administration
- Hire consolidated template: Similar to the change job templates, several steps in the Hire process have been consolidated to reduce the number of clicks.
- Removal of the step Additional data – Company car: we decided to remove the additional data “Company car” as the data was not consistently maintained. This results to one step less in the Hire process.
- Machine learning recommendation: we activated some machine learning so iPeople will suggest to admins some values that they frequently use. It will take approximatively 2 weeks to iPeople to learn before you can start seeing some suggestions. The expected benefit is to be able to click on the suggested value instead of searching in the list of values, thus saving time.
- Termination process: In line with Workday’s recommendations, we added 2 steps in the termination process:
- One step to end the contract by changing the status to Inactive.
- One step to close the probation period in case the employee is leaving during the probation period.
- These changes aim to resolve issues where terminated employees could not be rehired due to incomplete contract or probation closures.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
The HRIS team
