I am pleased to share with you an outline of what you can expect as part of our 4th and last Global DEI event of the year, Disability Awareness Weeks, which will run from the 24th November to the 5th December.
Understanding that accessibility lies at the heart of disability inclusion, the overarching theme for this event is
Unlocking accessibility, empowering The Real Us.
Communications:
A global email is planned to go out at the end of this week. Once validated, the body of the email will be added to the HR Sharepoint here.
The email will also form the basis of an article on My Ipsen on the 24th November.
Events:
01st December, 17:00 CET: Clemence Elie, Sponsor of our ND ERG* will be in conversation with Kate Griggs, CEO of Made by Dyslexia on the subject of Dyslexic Thinking as a key skill for the future of work.

4th December, 14:00 CET: Representatives from the AllAble ERG (for people with disabilities and their carers) and the ND ERG (for Neurodivergent employees and parents of Neurodivergent children) will join a panel discussion moderated by Veronique Devolve on “Barriers you don’t see: How inaccessibility excludes”
Workshops: In addition, we will be partnering with external partners Reverto, experts of virtual experiences for soft skills’ development, for a virtual experience workshop on Invisible Disabilities. The workshops will be run:
- Remotely in English on the 25th November (7 sessions available, 1 hour each, up to 16 participants per session)
- Remotely in French on the 28th November (7 sessions available, 1 hour each, up to 10 participants per session)
- Face to face in London office in English on the 3rd December (7 sessions available, 1 hour each, up to 12 participants per session)
- Face to face in Paris office in French on the 4th December (7 sessions available, 1 hour each, up to 12 participants per session)
Linked in Learning:
Curated short Linked In Learning content will be pushed via Linked In Learning for those two weeks.
