Have you seen this video on MyIpsen?

If not, take 3 minutes to watch it. It sheds light on a crucial topic: how an inclusive approach can improve the quality of care and strengthen our impact as a purpose-driven company.

Inclusion is a powerful lever to better meet patients’ needs, foster collaboration, and drive innovation. During the recent STEP UP Awards, a special DE&I prize recognized a project embodying this vision. This recognition reflects our strong belief that inclusive care is more effective care.

In that same spirit, Pascale Cavillon, Global Head of Patient Affairs, sat down with Chidiebere Ibe, medical illustrator, advocating for better representation in educational materials. Through his story and his artwork, Chidiebere highlights an often-overlooked reality: the lack of diversity in medical illustrations, especially those representing Black skin, can lead to misdiagnosis and inadequate treatment.

This video invites us to think differently about inclusion, not as a separate initiative, but as a fundamental part of how we work and who we are, for the benefit of both patients and teams.

We encourage you to watch it on MyIpsen, start the conversation, and keep bringing our shared values of inclusion to life, every day, in everything we do.

Thanks for sharing about inclusive healthcare today and some shocking information such as for prostate cancer, black men have a mortality rate twice that of a white man! Certainly made me think.
