I am pleased to announce that Tara Stanley will join Ipsen effective February 3, 2020 as Senior Director, People, Organization & Capabilities (POC), reporting to me. She will be located in Cambridge.
In this role, Tara will partner and work collaboratively with the North America HR Team, the NALT and global business leaders to create and drive strategic talent initiatives and programs that are fit for purpose to support and enable the scaling of the North America business. Tara will build a cohesive story to articulate the talent strategy, encompassing global and local initiatives. As part of this, she will drive a change management methodology, employee engagement, assuming and building on many of the initiatives and great work driven by multiple members of the HR team. These include experience maps, mentoring, diversity & inclusion, and overall employee experience work to drive employee engagement to provide a number of innovative ways that people can grow a career at Ipsen. In this role she will also collaborate with global Talent Management to successfully implement our critical global people processes including Succession Planning, Performance Management and Talent Development to facilitate a One Ipsen approach.
Tara has deep Talent and Organization Effectiveness experience and broad global experience across Latin America, Europe and North America. She has worked at global companies such as Phillip Morris, Kraft Foods/Kraft Heinz Company (Latin America, Europe and the United States), and most recently at Crate & Barrel as Director, Talent & Organization Development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Villanova and an MBA in International Management from Fordham University in addition to numerous coaching/change management/assessment/instructional design certifications and is fluent in Spanish.

I would like to thank Monica Berube for her superb work and contributions in her role leading Talent Management for North America since May 2018. Monica has added significant value to our talent processes and programs and brought to life many of the programs in place today. Monica will lead the next phase of our HR evolution and move into her new role as Head of HR Operations to stand up a dedicated HR shared services center. In this role, Monica will lead a new team focused on delivering an exceptional employee and manager experience through enhanced service delivery and drive execution excellence through optimized processes, systems, and tools. Monica will remain in Cambridge and continue to report to me.
