Dear HR colleague(s)

The STEP UP awards recognizing patient driven impact at Ipsen are now OPEN for entries. What will you submit?

These awards aim to shine a light on how people, like you, are stepping up for patients. I encourage you to enter or nominate a colleague or team so others can learn about and be inspired by your work and motivation.

WHO CAN ENTER AND HOW?

You, or your team, do not need to work on the ‘front line’ with patients to enter the awards: You can be in any role – even HR!

Writing this post, I was trying to think about some of the ways we’ve been supporting patients over the past year. Did you know that, for example:

  • 20% of all Plain Language Summary reviewers at Ipsen work in HR!
    • These colleagues are helping to make Ipsen science more accessible to patients by reading and improving the plain language summaries that are written and published with our trial manuscripts. Click HERE for more information and to volunteer
  • 1 of our ERGs – AllAble – supports employees either with a disability or chronic illness or caring for someone with a disability or chronic illness
  • There is a recently created Carer policy in the UK

CATEGORIES

The 8 awards across three categories – ‘Best in class patient engagement’, ‘Patient driven purpose’, and ‘Breaking down barriers’ for patients – are described in more detail on the entry platform, together with the judging criteria. Which one(s) will you choose?

AWARDS CEREMONY

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 3rd at an awards ceremony, where they will receive a shiny trophy, lots of applause and BRAVO points!

JUDGING: EXPERT PANEL

The STEP UP judging panel, comprises experts and senior leaders, including members of the ELT so your entries will receive high visibility and recognition.

ENTRIES & NOMINATIONS CLOSE 19TH FEBRUARY: TEMPLATES ON ENTRY PLATFORM

Good luck!

Abbie
