Short-term Assignment with US People, Organization & Capabilities team

Date: November 1, 2024 through March 7, 2025

Location:  Cambridge, US (flexible based on candidate)

Time Commitment:  70-100% (flexible based on candidate)

Reporting to:  Greta Dzieciaszek

 

Description: Fully support the People, Organization & Capabilities team while leading various critical HR functions, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), Rotational Programs, Budget Management, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and New Hire Orientation. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for fostering an inclusive workplace, developing talent, and managing programs that enhance employee engagement and growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Hire Orientation: Design and implement a comprehensive new hire orientation program that effectively integrates new employees into the company culture. Collaborate with various departments to ensure new hires receive the necessary training and resources. Evaluate the orientation program’s effectiveness and make adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Leadership Program Support: Day-to-day management of leadership and learning programs (Managing Within the Law, Manager Training, etc) to develop employees’ skills and competencies across various departments. Facilitate workshops and sessions on skills identified.  Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership and learning programs and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes. Partner closely with HRBP’s and manager’s to ensure high accountability and implementation of skills learned.
  • iLearn Core Team: Oversee the administration of the LMS, ensuring it meets the training and development needs of the organization. Develop and curate content for 2025 based on mandatory, dynamic training as identified by HR, Legal, Quality, Business Ethics, Communications, and Medical Affairs for US/Canada ONLY.  Maintain content versions, training schedule to be approved by NALT Q4/Q1 yearly. Implement monthly core team check-ins to further streamline training needs.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I):Develop and implement DE&I strategies and initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace. Collaborate with ERG leaders to align on external sponsorship, event logistics, employee engagement and senior leadership to integrate DE&I objectives into business strategies. Monitor and report on DE&I metrics and progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the budget for talent development programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Open and track all CR/PO/GR in K2. Align on all spend and manage 2025 contracts where appropriate RE: Master Service Agreement, SOW, Ariba, Procurement alignment.
