As you may already know, Ipsen France organized for the first time a solidarity week from 9-13 December 2019 called Ipsen Patient Day.

The Ipsen Patient Day initiative offers employees the opportunity, on a voluntary basis, to participate for half a day or a full day in solidarity actions with the community in relation to health. This initiative is part of the Company Social Responsibility strategy based on 3 pillars: Employees, Patients & Society and Environment.

For this first edition, we partnered with ” Unicité “, an association making the link between companies and associations in need of specific support.

We are proud to count 539 participants in this first edition, 90% of those registered.  Unicité and the beneficiary associations and structures were very sensitive to this and thank us for this mobilization which they consider as “quite incredible”.

The week after, we have been overwhelmed by the overall feedback from employees. The enthusiasm, pride and emotions our people felt during this Patient Day were real and really help them connect with colleagues but also with Patients.

After the success of our first Patient Day in France, we are now preparing the 2020 edition which will be held in December with a new objective of more than 700 volunteers.
