Dear Colleagues
First, a huge thank you for all your support in encouraging participation in the Employee Experience Survey and for filling it in yourself.
We had a tremendous global response rate of 82% for the Engagement statement set and 77% for the D&I statement set.
What are the next steps?
The results will be presented to the ELT on the 15th June and are embargoed until after we’ve spoken to them. All managers will get access (we hope) on the 16th June following a brief presentation at the Ipsen Live.
As you all know, a key aim of this survey is to define where we stand against our aspirational culture as outlined in the Culture Manifesto. The Ipsen lights will be published on Our Culture page on My Ipsen.
To move Ipsen forward for patients, our people, and for society, we need an effective strategy AND a strong and harmonized culture. We need to work together to ensure Ipsen is future ready and will be inviting all managers to work with their teams after the 16th June to:
- Review their results* (or their manager’s if they have fewer than 5 responses) and celebrate where they have grown as a team and, with a focused approach, determine which area(s) of challenge they will tackle, evolving and amending their action plan as needed within the Glint platform
- By uploading their action plan in Glint they will increase visibility of their efforts, in turn influencing global action planning and future survey content, and the development of global resources
- Please note that at the company level the Barrier Breaker Movement is focusing on turning three key culture lights green: Focus (prioritization), Collaboration, and Think Big (Smart Risk Taking). If they plan to work on any of these areas within their team, they’re counselled to first check alignment and ongoing initiatives before starting anything new.
In May 2024, we plan to run an Action Pulse to again check engagement and see how much closer to our aspirational culture we are versus today.
