Exciting new opportunity: Head of HR Iberia

Dear HR Community,

We are pleased to announce an exciting leadership opportunity within our HR organization: Head of Human Resources, Iberia, based in Barcelona with regional responsibilities across Spain and Portugal.

This pivotal role will:

  • Act as the authoritative HR representative for the Iberia Leadership Team, People Managers, and employees.
  • Deploy and implement global HR strategy locally, ensuring compliance and alignment with Ipsen’s values.
  • Lead organizational transformation, change management initiatives, and foster a culture of engagement and excellence.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to development, performance management, and retention.
  • Drive Work Council management, negotiations, and ensure adherence to local labor laws and RGPD privacy standards.

Key requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Strong expertise in labour relations, organisational development, and change management
  • Ability to lead with integrity, influence stakeholders, and deliver results in a dynamic setting

Location: Barcelona (with travel to Madrid and Portugal)
