DACH Trainings plan 2021 (10%)

Dear colleagues,

I would like to share with you best practices from DACH regarding our Training Plan 2021 derived from the iDevelop 2020 campaign.

Over the past weeks and months, we have been working intensively on the analyses of the training needs of our employees shared in iDevelop. In May last year, the second iDevelop campaign started at Ipsen and we achieved 99,5 % completion rate .

The aim of iDevelop is to work together with the manager to create a personal development plan for each of our employee. According to our 70:20:10 principle, everyone should record where their development journey should go and how do they want to achieve it.

As mentioned above, among others we have dedicated ourselves to the 10%, i.e. formal learning through learning programmes/courses/training. In doing so, we have summarised the most requested trainings and created a training plan for 2021.

These are:

“Project management”
“Actively managing virtual meetings (moderation)”
“Powerpoint in use”
“Language course – English”
“Communication in conflict situations”
“MS Office for beginners”
“Presentation training basics and advanced “

How does registration work?

The vast majority of participant places are allocated to employees who have already “registered” for the training in iDevelop and so it has been already discussed and approved by the manager.

This said, we believe that the high iDevelop participation rate is a result of the clear message, that participation in our in house training classes are only possible if a need has been defined during the iDevelop campaign.

Only if there are some few remaining participant places we check with the people leaders and allocate according to the priority of a) necessity and b) urgency of need.

Some of the training are delivered by our in-house trainer, but we work as well with external providers who prepare the trainings for our IPSEN needs.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time!

Kind Regards,

DACH HR TEAM
