One Month into Season of Development

It’s already been a month since we kicked off the Season of Development! We wanted to take a moment to celebrate our journey so far and give you a sneak peek into what’s coming up next.

Over the past month, we’ve held a number of engaging global events. Here are some highlights:

FANTASTIC FEEDBACK with MindGym – over 200 attendees.  Some memorable quotes from this session are:

  • Feedback is sharing information designed to reinforce or change behavior.
  • Feedback on the what and the how, definitely not on the who.
  • Let’s steer away from personality when giving feedback.

CAREER COACHING WEBINAR with atrain for Managers (replay here) – this was another popular event with 260 managers attending. A few insightful quotes from this session include:

  • Growth is never by chance; it is the result of forces working together. However, we need intentionality.
  • Ikigai translates to living a life worth living and a life worth living is being in harmony with yourself, those around you, your environment.
  • A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be.
  • Don’t shy away from an honest conversation done with care.
  • Whatever it is that we don’t address stays the same. Be courageous and even if there might be a negative response, offer your thoughts anyway, people may surprise you.

DEVELOPME – the new development solution for all Ipsen has been launched globally, with over 280 attendees in the Manager Session.

We are eager to hear more from our employees and see first applicants following the Global Employee Launch on June 10. TECHOPS OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SESSION– this session saw ~120 participants who are eager to drive operational excellence and digital transformation.

WHAT’S NEXT – and this is just the beginning! Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming up next:

IDEVELOP
In addition to the above, we want to remind everyone of the iDevelop discussions and ask for a call to action to not only ensure everyone has a conversation on their development, but that the conversation is meaningful, authentic and focused.  We currently have 6.7% completion with the vast majority (86%) still sitting with employees.  Deadline for manager submission is 31 July.
