I am pleased to announce that James Kenney joined the North America Talent Acquisition Team on June 16th, as Associate Director Talent Acquisition, reporting to me. He will be located in our 1 Main Street office in Cambridge, MA.

James brings significant experience in recruiting, sourcing, university relations and executive search. His experience has been primarily in the life sciences, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries with a focus on commercial operations and G&A. James joins us from Clarivate and Decision Resources Group where he was responsible for building consulting teams to support multiple clients with projects in commercial strategy, new product planning, pricing, reimbursement and market access. Prior to Clarivate, he spent time leading the University Relations function for Skyworks and as an Executive Search Consultant at Biogen and Egon Zehnder. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Finance from University of Massachusetts at Amherst – Isenberg School of Management.

James’ prior experience building teams and placing executives within our industry will help us continue to cultivate relationships with top talent and build our brand in the talent market. His work within consulting and executive search provides him with a unique perspective on identifying talent and developing candidates to meet our demanding requirements. His work in university relations will be an asset to Ipsen’s Talent Acquisition function as we continue to develop rich early talent pipelines to effectively scale our organization and meet our workforce planning goals. James will focus primarily on our North America Commercial Team and G&A functions.

I am pleased to announce that Tasia Meidanis is promoted to Talent Acquisition Specialist within the North America Talent Acquisition Team as of July 1st. She will continue to report to me and will continue to be located at One Main Street in Cambridge.

Tasia joined Ipsen in 2017 to focus on supporting North America HR, she quickly progressed to a Talent Acquisition Coordinator position within our North America Talent Acquisition Team. For the past two years Tasia has been instrumental in providing a high-quality candidate experience for all levels of talent that interviewed at Ipsen. In the past year, she has expanded her scope and fully ramped into the role of a recruiter handling 15+ requisitions at any given time in both the U.S. and Canada.

Tasia’s promotion recognizes her continued contributions to our North America Talent Acquisition Team as well as her ability to learn and fully transition into a new role.

I am very pleased to announce that Alex Gonzales is promoted to Director, Human Resources Business Partner, effective July 1, 2021. Alex will continue to report to Chris Hawkins.

Alex joined Ipsen in September 2019 as Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner providing strategic HRBP support to the North American Commercial Organization including Finance, Legal, Business Ethics, Communications & Patient Advocacy, Regulatory Affairs, and Government Affairs, as well as the Global Partnering organization. Over the past 9 months, Alex expanded his responsibilities by standing up a dedicated NA Employee Relations COE, in addition to co-leading the NA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion COE. In April 2021, Alex also became the HRBP to the Technical Operations team at One Kendall Square.

Before joining Ipsen, Alex worked at Procter & Gamble in a variety of HR roles, including HRBP, Mergers & Acquisitions, and International Mobility. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, with a minor in Latino Studies, from Cornell University.

I am pleased to announce that Dylan Brown is promoted to Specialist, HR Business Partner effective July 1, 2021. In this newly created role, Dylan will provide strategic and operational Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) support to the NA Communications & Government Affairs organization and will partner with the centers of excellence to drive the talent agenda and critical strategic priorities by aligning our talent, partnering on programs and initiatives, and driving execution excellence. Dylan will also partner and run point on projects that span across the North America R&D, Tech Ops, Global Partnering, and Commercial businesses. This includes various employee experience initiatives (i.e. DevelopMe), employee and people manager trainings, supporting our various talent and performance management systems, and executing on HR’s ongoing listening strategy. Dylan will also continue to co-lead the NA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy, ensuring that DEI is embedded into our talent and business processes.

Dylan joined Ipsen in January 2019, supporting Lisa DiPaolo, SVP Human Resources NA. He holds a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Boston University, a Bachelor in Sociology and Psychology from Northeastern University, HR Business Partnering Certificate from Cornell University’s Industrial & Labor Relations School and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Dylan will report to Chris Hawkins and be based in Cambridge, MA. Please join me in wishing congratulations to Dylan on this much deserved promotion and success in his new position.

 

I am pleased to announce that Justin Dowling has successfully completed the first pilot in the Oncology Associate Account Specialist developmental program. In the position of Oncology Associate Account Specialist, Justin was responsible for promoting Ipsen Oncology portfolio – Onivyde and Somatuline Depot. I would like to thank him for all his work in this space. As Justin concludes his developmental assignment, he will continue to provide HRBP support to the Rare Business Unit, and the Global Functions that are part of the Cambridge Hub (including R&D and IT). In addition, Justin will provide strategic HR support for the Regulatory Affairs team.

Justin has been a part of the Human Resources Department for four years in various roles. Justin holds a BS in Management and a minor in Accounting and Finance from Bridgewater State University.
