New People Performance Model – Get ready !

In 2022, at the initiative of the ELT, a new People Performance model was developed at Ipsen, aiming to be more holistic, fair, consistent and simple. This new model is articulated around 3 main principles:

  • Acknowledge that almost everyone at Ipsen is a strong performer
  • Holistic assessment of individual performance (Job content and Focus of the Year), both from a What and a How standpoint
  • Overall performance strictly drives individual factor % (differentiation and consistency)

We started implementing the change at the beginning of 2023 with the Objective setting phase. Now it is time to prepare for the next phase with the Performance Evaluation phase in Q4.

This change is instrumental in supporting our strategy and culture, as well as developing our people. As HR, we have a critical role in leading the change management, making sure that managers and employees understand and adopt the new model and its impact, hence apply it consistently during the Performance Evaluation phase.

You will find below the change management planning with the key milestones for HR population as well as managers and employees. Invitations will soon follow for the HR Kick-Off sessions, and we are going to provide you with communications and materials to get you prepared to cascade it to our employees.

We count on you to convey the key messages and principles of the new model throughout the organization, as well as support managers and employees in this exercise.

Thank you in advance for your commitment to this critical evolution of our People Performance model.

Can you please advise if the training sessions on 17 & 18 October for managers will be recorded? We have a 5 day audit that week on site so have a large number of managers who will not be able to attend the training.
