Dear HR Community,
In order to sensitize managers on the importance of a proper offboarding process, they will be now automatically receiving a notification after the approval of the employee termination by the Site HR.
The message reminds managers to prepare and check some actions before the departure of the employee.
This notification has been agreed with the Global quality team (who insisted to raise awareness in order to avoid processes and documents being left “orphan” after someone’s departure) and will be launched as of 24th January 2022.
Please find below the whole message:
One of your team member is about to leave Ipsen.
It is important that the information owned by this team member is properly handed over and that the pending tasks are completed before his/her actual departure.
Therefore, as a line manager, we remind you to confirm the following with the departing employee:
- all relevant information assets (*) owned by the employee have been either transferred to the relevant recipient(s) or archived,
- any open tasks related to global processes/systems have been closed or handed over so that the process will not be blocked once the employee leaves.
- all personal data have been deleted
(*) This applies to information in all formats, including printed or written on paper, stored electronically, transmitted in any format.
