New C&B Grouping Categories

Dear colleagues,

As shared during the HR Webcast last Thursday, leveraging the job catalogue, job grouping categories have been reviewed and refined to introduce greater granularity and better align with evolving market dynamics.

Reminder: C&B job grouping categories are designed to group jobs of similar nature and compensation trends for the purpose of salary ranges.

 

Why this update

  • Clarity: One job profile = one job grouping category
  • Greater granularity: Enhance consistency across categories
  • Future-ready: Get prepared to communicate in a context of pay transparency

 

โœ… Whatโ€™s next?

  • The job catalogue has been updated with the detailed mapping by job profile
  • Effective January 1, 2026: Job grouping categories will be automatically updated in iPeople for all active employees and open job requisitions;
  • HR must double-check and possibly adjust the job profile for all initiated, but not completed, recruitments (ready for hire) or for all currently inactive employees falling back to active status;
  • No action required from HR on job grouping categories, as this strictly driven by the job profile โ€” HR remains accountable for assigning job profiles correctly. Data quality is critical!
