Dear HR Colleagues,
As we evolve our HR operating model, we are centralizing the Global Talent Acquisition function as a Center of Excellence. This includes strengthening our internal talent acquisition capabilities to have consistency and operationally excellent processes across the organization with a focus on driving diversity into our processes and providing candidates with an exceptional experience. This is all part of our strategy to increase Ipsen’s brand and attract and hire top talent. The new global talent acquisition model will have dedicated Talent Acquisition leaders for our thee hubs/regions.
I am very pleased to announce that Michael Spiers will join the Global Talent Acquisition team on April 6, 2020, as Talent Acquisition Hub Lead, UK/Ireland, reporting to me. He will be located in our Bath Road office. Michael will have the following direct reports:
- Serena Dempsey
- Caroline O’Reilly/Preneta Naidoo
- Nadia Hussain
Temreez Ahmed will continue reporting to Jo Briggs, supporting Michael with candidate interviews as she currently does today.
Michael graduated with his History degree from the University of Essex. He began his career in staffing when he joined CPL as a Business Manager for close to seven years. In this role, Michael and his team successfully partnered with both pharmaceutical & medical device companies on graduate, permanent, contract hiring, and retained assignments. In 2017, Michael took a position with Boston Scientific (BTG) as their Senior Global Manager of Talent Acquisition. Michael led a transformation of the in-house recruitment model with limited resources, successfully achieving this by building the team, implementing simple process improvements, utilizing digital tools, and building long lasting relationships across the global business.
Please join me in welcoming Michael and wishing him success in his new position.
Best regards,
Lisa Di Paolo
SVP, North America Human Resources & Global Talent Acquisition
