Thank you for joining us for the training sessions of the new Ipsen Job Description (JD) Template.

Launch Timelines:
A communication will be sent to the Ipsen’s Manager population with the new template and guidelines on week commencing the 10th February 2025.
Managers will be advised to use this new template only for new JDs or rewriting JDs for new recruitment. They are not required to use the new template for ongoing recruitment or for the JD of their current team members unless they wish to, or it’s locally required.
Training for managers on the new JD template won’t be provided, as it includes built-in guidance. We count on you to support your managers as and when they require assistance at the point of recruitment.
Job Description Storage:
For a period of 6 months, we will be trialing the storage of completed job descriptions in a central location on the Global TA Hub by Job Family / Job Profile.
This storage location does not replace current local processes for saving signed job descriptions (either signed by manager and/or employee). For compliance and audit purposes these must be saved in your current validated local method (e.g. AskHR).

Key governance points include:
- The storage is only accessible by HR, who will upload final, graded and validated Microsoft Word versions of completed JDs on behalf of managers following the Ipsen Job family/Job profile structure.
- When replacing an existing JD in a Job Profile folder, please move the existing JD to the ‘Archive’ folder available.
- Naming convention: JOB TITLE_LOCATION_DATE (e.g. Global Marketing Director_London_15 MAR 2025)
This library will be audited after 6 months to evaluate the efficiency and the adherence to the above governance. A decision to retain or remove it will be made and communicated to HR before any action is taken.
