Ipsen in Motion 2020 was officially launched on the 21st of January with our first Annual Engagement Challenge to support International Health Partner, a global non-profit organization.
Following this, starting 8 February, the first country challenge for the benefit of cancer research will begin in the UK: the London Winter charity Run. Around thirty colleagues from Ipsen’s sites in Milton Park, Bath Road and Wrexham will take part in this challenge.
This year we’re introducing country teams in addition to the global function teams, and an annual global engagement challenge on top of the country-specific challenges.
To help you motivate your country teams to participate in the up and coming challenges, we have produced some communication materials. These materials have been sent to the Com’unity network and will be updated for each new challenge.
We count on you to keep our CSR commitment to patients, society and the environment alive throughout the year. Ipsen in Motion offers each one of us the opportunity to make a difference for those who matter most to us: patients!
What’s new in 2020?
In 2020, Ipsen in Motion will include five new challenges. Four of these will be country-specific and support local associations:
- Ipsen UK will participate in the London Winter charity Run from 8 February to 6 March to support cancer research (Cancer Research UK association)
- Ipsen Italy will participate in the Zoom Zebra Run from mid-April to mid-May to support patients living with NET (Zoom Zebra association)
- Ipsen France will participate in the Medical Run from mid-June to mid-July to support those living with cancer (Cami Sport & Cancer association)
- Ipsen Brazil will kick-off Move for FOP throughout November to support FOP patients
The fifth challenge will become an annual global engagement challenge in support of a global association:
Ipsen’s global engagement challenge is open to all colleagues in support of International Health Partners, a global non for-profit organization founded in the UK in 2004, whose purpose is to bridge the gap between supply and demand for healthcare products for underserved populations and in the aftermath of disaster. This challenge will start at the beginning of February until the end of November.
And NEW teams!
Many of you asked us to enhance the value of country engagement through Ipsen in Motion, so in 2020, we’re introducing country teams in addition to the global function teams. This new feature means that all employees must re-register or register with a local team or global function in the United Heroes App.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Feryal GHOUADNI and Nicolas LEROY.
