As it is nearly 1 year since we launched the Ipsen coaching policy, we’ve taken the opportunity to review and update it.
The main changes are as follows:
- Purpose of coaching – we’ve added in a reference to the separate program offered by some functions which are focused on the development of coaching skills for managers (eg with commercial and medical)
- Scope & eligibility – we’ve made a greater distinction between 360/180 debrief with action planning vs the full coaching journey
- Approval process for external coaching & budget – for GLT the HR approval is now BHR instead of Head of Talent, for all other employees the manager approves rather than the managers manager (as captured in approval process in iPeople).
- Executive/Leadership Preferred Supplier List – we have added BetterUp as a provider for coaching for GLT in addition to Korn Ferry and IMD. No other providers to be used.
