Dear Colleagues,

Please find below an outline of the approach planned globally for International Women’s Day 2025, along with the communication planned for the International Day of Women & Girls in Science:

International Women’s Day- 8th March

The following activities are planned as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations around the 8th March (note- the 8th March falls on a Saturday this year, the activities are therefore proposed to take place the week before and the week after)

  • 6th March, 14:00 CET: A talk with Mary Ann Sieghart (journalist and author of The Authority Gap) and Catherine Abi Habib on understanding the authority gap [RECORDED]

  • 10th March, 11:00 CET: Unpacking gender equity at Ipsen with Sophie Veron, VP Comp&Ben & Adlane Soudani, member of the Global D&I Council
  • Linked in Learning challenge (IWD focus)
  • Visuals are available in the HR Community sharepoint here– please use those to advertise the talks on your screens locally.

The migraine talk has been moved to July upon a request from Global Communications, to align with a wider campaign on the topic of migraines. Save the dates for the two events above have gone out.

If you are planning additional activities locally, please remember to link to The Real Us to maintain consistency in our DEI messaging.

Happy International Women’s Day!
