Dear HR Community,

Following up on last week’s update on the Season of Development, we would like to highlight that all iDevelop materials are now available in the HR Community SharePoint.

iDevelop is an integral moment within the Season of Development, offering a structured opportunity to enable meaningful development conversations across the organisation — helping employees and managers reflect on strengths, identify development needs, and agree clear actions for growth.

The materials (PPT deck + launch emails) are designed to support you in guiding these conversations with Ipsen’s employees and leaders, reinforcing the role we all play — together, with HR — in driving development and growth.

As part of this, and where relevant, the outcomes of these discussions can also inform succession planning, increasing visibility of talent and potential opportunities across teams and functions. To support this, we have integrated a specific slide deck drawing on Talent

Review materials, alongside guidance in iPeople on:

  • How to navigate and view succession plans for the position in their organization
  • How to manage succession plans for the positions in their organization
  • !!NEW!! how to visualize the succession profile of their employees (succession profile = the roles to which the employee is identified as successor) with information around readiness

This addition aims to support more informed and holistic conversations, helping managers better understand development opportunities for their teams — both within and beyond their immediate scope.  This can also create opportunities to more intentionally explore progression pathways with leaders, including identifying and further supporting high potential talent who may not yet be visible in succession plans.

We look forward to seeing you and your teams engaging in the activities and events prepared as part of the Season of Development.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the project team: Nicola, Emy, Emma, Margaux, Angela, Dianna and Michaela.
