We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa DiPaolo, SVP HR, in charge of North America, R&D and Global Business Development, Ventures and Partnering, effective 1st of July 2020. Lisa will assume this new role as an expansion to her curren t role supporting Richard Paulson and will join the R&D Leadership Team.

She will report to Richard Paulson and Howard Mayer and have a functional reporting line to Régis Mulot. In addition, she will maintain her role as Head of Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence as we continue to evolve the HR function and optimize resources.

Lisa joined Ipsen in April 2018, as Senior VP HR North America and Global Talent Acquisition, where she successfully led the establishment of the North America Hub, successfully moved the commercial headquarters to Cambridge and led HR talent strategies as well as built the global talent acquisition hub model, executive search capabilities and recruitment strategies.

Prior to joining Ipsen, Lisa spent nearly a decade at Biogen in various HR roles, most recently serving as Vice President of HR, Global Therapeutic Operations and Executive Search, providing strategic support to the US and European operations as well as supporting growth strategies and setting up new entities in Latin America and Asia Pacific. Before Biogen, Lisa worked at Smiths Medical, where she led HR for North America for 2 years. Earlier in her career, Lisa spent 9 years at Novartis

We thank Lisa for her contributions over the last two years and look forward to future success in her new role with R&D.

Further to Lisa’s announcement, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Anne-Laure Amoros, VP HR, in charge of Global Medical Affairs, Patient Safety & Patient Affairs, Business Ethics & CSR, Strategy, Transformation & Digital and Ipsen Foundation.

In this role, she will continue to support Steven Hildemann, as a key contributor of the CMO Leadership Team, and will in addition support Dominique Laymand (Business Ethics & CSR), Dominique Bery (Strategy, Transformation & Digital) and James Levine (Ipsen Foundation).

Anne-Laure will report to Régis Mulot and will be moving back to Europe and be based in Boulogne-Billancourt as of December 2020.

Anne-Laure joined Ipsen in 2012 as Vice President HR Region Europe and was until 2018 Vice President HR Specialty Care. Prior to Ipsen, Anne-Laure was HR Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb where she developed a strong HR partnership during more than 10 years at local & European Level.

We take this opportunity to thank Anne-Laure for her great dedication over the last two years in supporting R&D through its transformation by developing and implementing the most appropriate HR strategies.

They both continue to be part of the Global Human Resources Leadership Team.

Anne-Laure and Lisa will partner together between the 1st of July and the end of August 2020 to ensure a smooth transition.

Please join us in wishing the two of them great success in their new positions. We are convinced that, as great business partners, they will continue to enable Ipsen leaders to drive Ipsen growth.
