Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce that Young Min (Jerry) Heo will be joining Ipsen as Head of HR Korea on June 13rd, 2022. He will be based in Seoul, Korea and will report directly to me and will work very closely with Audrey Schweitzer- GM Korea. Jerry will be part of the Korean leadership Team and will work very closely with Nathalie Maire who is on her HR assignment in Korea.
Jerry brings rich experience and competencies in Human Resources. He has a strong background in Organizational Effectiveness and Transformation, Org Design, Talent & Performance Management. He brings with him deep expertise of managing Labor matters including collective bargaining and trade union. He as well is passionate on cultivating culture through effectively using employee engagement survey & follow ups. Jerry is an experienced leader and people developer who has worked in renowned international companies in Korea.
Jerry joins us from Zuellig Pharma Korea where he worked as Head of HR. Prior to joining Zuellig Pharma, he worked in HomePlus Korea as HR Director. Before that, Jerry worked for several years in General Mills & Häagendazs Korea as HR Director providing functional expertise to drive the HR initiatives and activities in Korea to create competitive commercial advantages and being responsible for overseeing and aligning the full spectrum of H.R matters. Before that, Jerry worked in HR positions in companies like DongBu Chemical, Bayer Crop Science, Kellogg, and SpirexSarco.
Jerry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from SungKyunKwan University and MBA from SoGang University.
I am sure, Jerry’s extensive HR operations and strategic experience, will help contribute to the business growth and he will help develop a strong people strategy for Korea.
