Dear HR Colleagues,

I’m very pleased to announce the appointment of Serena Dempsey as Learning and Development Program Manager in the Global Talent Team, for a duration of one year covering Chandini Shah during her maternity leave.

As of today, Serena will be responsible for the following global L&D programs: LinkedIn learning, Fast Tracking Talents, First Time Leaders, Leading the Ipsen Way and for our Mentoring offer.

She is based in Wrexham and reports to me.

Serena graduated with a first-class honours degree in Geography from the University of Southampton and then started her career in website design and marketing, before moving to Ipsen in 2016 to support the Wrexham site with recruitment. Since then, she has recruited roles globally, as well as led projects including Early Talent programs, external workforce management and recruitment improvement initiatives. She has a keen interest in the holistic talent management process and is looking forward to learning more throughout this secondment.

Please join me in welcoming Serena to the global Talent team and in wishing her all the best for this assignment.  I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Chandini all the very best wishes as she goes out on her maternity leave. We look forward to hearing her good news.
