Dear all,

I am pleased to announce that Samantha Peoples was promoted to Senior Specialist, Total Rewards within the North American Compensation & Benefits team on May 1st. She will report to Michaela Leo, Head, Compensation & Benefits, North America and will be located in Mississauga.

Samantha joined Ipsen Canada in May 2021 as HR Intern where she successfully supported various HR assignments including educating employees on Canada’s benefit programs, supporting day to day requests, and administering the benefit plans. In December 2021, she joined the North American HR People Services team where she provided high quality HR operations support and functional subject matter expertise while remaining the key HR contact for our Canadian colleagues.

In this new role, Samantha will continue to support the design and delivery of Canadian benefits programs. In addition, she will support administration and review of US benefits and compensation plans, as well as contribute to the design and continuous improvement of North American Total Rewards processes and programs.

Samantha obtained an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in linguistics from the University of Toronto and a Human Resources Management Postgraduate Certificate from George Brown College. Samantha also spent four years as a Flight Attendant with Air Canada Rouge following her undergrad, before she realized her passion for HR!
