Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that Ping ZHU is appointed as Head of Human Resources China, starting 24^th June 2024. In this role, Ping will report directly to me and have a dotted line reporting to Guillaume DELMOTTE – General Manager China.

Ping will be located in Shanghai and will be responsible to partner as the HR Business Partner for the China Leadership Team and leading the HR Team in China.

Angela WU- Talent development and learning Lead China, Micheal HU and Jim LI- HR Business partners and Judy Wang- Sales Training Lead will be directly reporting to Ping. Kelly ZHAO- Talent Acquisition Partner, Janet WANG- HRSS Lead China & APAC and Siti SHAHDAN- C&B Lead China & APAC will work closely with China HR team to ensure operational effectiveness so the team can focus on business partnership.

Ping has rich experience and skills in Human Resources. She has a strong background in Talent management processes, building and implementing HR strategy based on business strategy, organisational transformation, end to end HR services and Employee Relations. Graduate French from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Ping has over 17 years of experience in Human resources in various industries, most recently working as HR Head Hong Kong & Macau for Novartis based in Hong Kong. Before Novartis she was at Adidas, Bayer, IKEA, LVMH and Michelin and progressively advanced in her career in Human resources China. Ping, speaks Mandarin, English and French. We are confident that her international background and extensive HR experience will help contribute to the business growth and develop strong people strategy for China.

Heartfelt thanks for Anna Strelnikova-Head of HR Russia & CIS who has supported as Interim Head of HR China for the past weeks. Anna will be in Shanghai for 2 weeks supporting the onboarding of Ping and will continue to be her buddy in HR.
