Dear colleagues,

It is with regret that I inform you that Lisa DiPaolo, Senior Vice President HR North America, Global R&D & Partnering has decided to leave Ipsen, her last day will be July 8^th, 2022.

Lisa joined in April 2018 as Senior Vice President HR North America Commercial and Global Talent Acquisition. She extended her HR business partner scope early 2020, supporting Business Development and then Global Research & Development organization in July 2020. In 2021, she focused with her teams on the HR talent agenda and business partnering, after successfully building a Global Talent Acquisition COE and transitioning that to a combined Talent function under Fabienne Astier in September 2021.

Lisa brought tremendous experience in supporting and challenging Ipsen North America business transformation these past years, where she successfully co-led the establishment of the North America Hub, co-led the move of the commercial headquarters to Cambridge and built the global talent acquisition hub model, executive search capabilities and recruitment strategies; and in partnering with Howard Mayer and his R&D Leadership Team, to build a world-class organization. I’d like to acknowledge Lisa for her strong contributions to Ipsen over the past 4 years.

With Lisa’s departure, we are launching a search for her replacement, and will be assessing both external and internal candidates.

In the meantime, Jacques Goldenberg will be joining Ipsen on July 6^th, 2022, as interim Vice President HR, Research & Development and Global Partnering. He will also be the HR lead in charge of leading the Epizyme integration. Jacques will be based in our Cambridge office, will report to me and will join both the R&D and Global Partnering Leadership teams.

With 25 years of HR international experience based in France, South Africa and the US, he will bring his recent Sanofi experience where these past 3 years, he was global business HR head of R&D and Digital for the vaccine division and led the HR workstream of Translate Bio integration. Jacques lives in Winchester, MA with his family.

Monica Berube will be rejoining Ipsen on July 18^th, 2022, as interim Vice President HR, North America Commercial. She served as Ipsen’s Senior Director, People, Organization & Capability and People Services between 2018 & 2021, before setting up her own HR consulting firm. It is with great pleasure that we are welcoming her back.

Monica will be based in Cambridge, reporting to me, and joining the North America Commercial Leadership Team.

Monica brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in talent systems, process engineering, HR operations and overall organization strategy and culture combining her 25 years of engineering, project management and HR experience.

C’est avec regret que je vous informe que Lisa DiPaolo, Senior Vice President HR North America, Global R&D & Partnering a décidé de quitter Ipsen, son dernier jour sera le 8 juillet 2022.

Lisa a rejoint Ipsen en avril 2018 en tant que Senior Vice President HR North America Commercial and Global Talent Acquisition. Elle a étendu son périmètre de business partner RH début 2020, en soutenant le Business Développement, puis l’organisation Globale Recherche & Développement en juillet 2020. En 2021, elle s’est concentrée avec ses équipes sur l’agenda des talents RH et le business partnering, après avoir créé avec succès un Centre d’Excellence Opérationnel de gestion des talents qui fut transféré en Global Talent à Fabienne Astier en septembre 2021.

Lisa a apporté une expérience considérable en soutenant et en challengeant la transformation de l’activité d’Ipsen en Amérique du Nord ces dernières années, pendant lesquelles elle a codirigé avec succès la mise en place du Hub Amérique du Nord, le déménagement du siège commercial à Cambridge et la mise en place du pôle global de gestion des talents, de recherche des collaborateurs cadres et des stratégies de recrutement et un partenariat avec Howard Mayer et son équipe de direction R&D, pour construire une organisation d’envergure. Je tiens à remercier Lisa pour sa forte contribution à Ipsen au cours des quatre dernières années.

Du fait du départ de Lisa, nous lançons une recherche pour son remplacement, et nous évaluerons des candidats externes et internes.

Dans l’intervalle, Jacques Goldenberg rejoindra Ipsen le 6 juillet 2022, en tant que Vice-Président RH par intérim, Recherche & Développement et Partenariat Global. Il sera également le responsable RH chargé de diriger l’intégration d’Epizyme. Jacques sera basé dans notre bureau de Cambridge, me reportera et rejoindra également les équipes de Direction R&D et Partenariat Global.

Avec 25 ans d’expérience internationale en RH en France, en Afrique du Sud et aux États-Unis, il apportera son expérience récente chez Sanofi où, ces trois dernières années, il a été responsable RH de la R&D et du numérique pour la division vaccins et a dirigé le volet RH de l’intégration de Translate Bio. Jacques vit à Winchester, MA, avec sa famille.

Monica Berube rejoindra Ipsen le 18 juillet 2022 en tant Vice President RH, North America Commercial par intérim. Elle a occupé le poste de Senior Director, People, Organization & Capability and People Services chez Ipsen entre 2018 et 2021, avant de créer son propre cabinet de conseil en RH. C’est avec grand plaisir que nous l’accueillons à nouveau.

Monica sera basée à Cambridge, me reportera et rejoindra également l’équipe de Direction North America Commercial.

Monica apporte une grande expérience et des connaissances en matière de systèmes de talents, d’ingénierie des processus, d’opérations RH et de stratégie et culture d’organisation globale, combinant ses 25 années d’expérience en ingénierie, gestion de projet et RH.
