Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that Liza O’BRIEN is nominated Deputy BHR within the Technical Operations Division. Liza will remain based in Dublin and report to VP HR Technical Operations.

Liza will be stepping into this new role as of the 1^st of July 2022 and her replacement as the HR Director for our Dublin site is to be launched.

In her new mandate of Deputy BHR Technical Operations, Liza will contribute to the deployment and development of HR strategy for Technical Operations through proactive coordination, monitoring and implementation of HR action plans, and ensuring strong HR synergies in conjunction with HR community and key business players. She will act as a strategic Business Partner for some leadership teams of the Technical Operations like Global Manufacturing, External Manufacturing or Quality.

Graduated from Smurfit School of Business in MBS Human Resource Management in 2001, Liza is a highly seasoned HR professional. She worked in HR for the companies like Pfizer, AXA Life Invest, and Bord Gais Energy.

Liza joined Ipsen Dublin in 2016. As part of the Dublin Leadership Team, she has been leading the people agenda for the site, enabling the implementation of business strategy, and achieving Great Places to Work, and Best Workplaces 2018 and 2019. Liza acted as Ad Interim HR Director for our Wrexham site between December 2020 and May 2021.
