Dear colleagues,

We are happy to welcome two new members to the Site HR team in London, reporting to me.

Fiona CONNELL starts at Ipsen on 29 April 2024 as HR Business Partner London. Fiona will be supporting GPPS & corporate functions from an HR operational perspective in strong collaboration with Global HR and relevant managers. Fiona also will be serving as a full HR business partner for the UK & Ireland affiliate alongside me, focusing on talent management, development and engagement.

Fiona has a degree in Political Science, Conflict Studies and Mediation from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa, and is on the way to obtaining her CIPD5 certification. She joins Ipsen from Cision (media software company and services provider) where she was an HR Business Partner. Fiona has also worked as an HR professional at WPP (creative transformation agency) and at the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Margy STAIKOU started in her contract role as HR Business Partner London on 24 April 2024. She will be covering the role of Wendy HAYES, who is currently on leave. Margy will be focusing on ensuring the best employee experience in our London hub, overlooking and consistently improving HR processes at meaningful touchpoints. From an HR operational perspective, Margy will be supporting R&D, CMO and the Tech Ops populations in strong collaboration with Global HR and relevant managers.

Margy holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from University College London and is CIPD5 certified. She is an experienced HR professional, and prior to joining Ipsen held diverse roles in companies such as Treatwell (as Group HR Business Partner), Hotwire (as People and Culture Manager), and TSG Consulting (as HR & Recruitment Co-ordinator).
