Dear colleagues,

You will have seen the email to all employees yesterday announcing our next Global DE&I event, Cultural Diversity week, which will run for one week from the 23rd September.

As with previous events, we are offering different ways in which employees can engage with and reflect on the topic of cultural diversity, under the theme of “Honouring our cultures, embracing the real us.”

Cultural Diversity Week is the event where we usually see the most involvement locally, as employees are keen to share and find out about each other’s cultures and customs. I imagine a number of you will find your own ways of echoing the global events with some local celebration, which can also serve to enhance connections between colleagues. As always, please ensure you carry the Real Us umbrella for all local events, and send on any photos you have (making sure you have signed consent from people for their photos to be used).
