Clarifying D&I terms in our One Ipsen Way of Being

Dear HR community,

As you already know,  we are finalizing our Diversity & Inclusion Roadmap soon to be communicated among HR, Coms & CSR network.

In the meantime, we wanted to inform you that we start activating some elements that could impact your site and your employees.

1/ We created 2 new greetings on Be*One website in the perspective of recognizing people who act with D&I on daily basis ( You act inclusively /You value differences)

2/ As we progress in the expression of what D&I means to us @ Ipsen, it seems important to clarify some terms in our One Ipsen way of being. If you remember well, since 2018, the words  «  Diversity & Inclusion » are specifically referenced twice in our One Ipsen Way of Being, with good intent but remained quite vague.

That’s why we decided to change them for: 

In “We trust each other”: Respect and be open to differences  instead of “Respect and be open to diversity and inclusion”.

In “We drive to win together”: Act inclusively at all times instead of “Enable talent inclusion and diversity.”

At this stage , if you could start translating these changes (outside of ENG /FR ) and  implement them smoothly locally that would be great during the summer ! For the ones that are not on site yet, you could start listing all materials that need to be changed and wait new CEO communication materials to change everything at once.

We will come back to you very soon with a clear D&I roadmap, communication campaign and more specific roll’out guidances.
