Dear colleagues,
Following a decision of Workday, the iPeople server will be migrated to a new data center on April 26th.
It will have the following impacts:
- iPeople will be unavailable on April 26th and 27th, including the external career site meaning candidates will not be able to apply.
- After the migration April 28th, the URL of iPeople will be changed:
- If you access iPeople using MyApps on MyIpsen, you will be able to continue connecting this way on April 28th as the URL will be updated in MyApps.
- If you have bookmarked the access to iPeople, you will have to update your bookmark.
- The links included in the notifications sent by iPeople prior to the migration will not work anymore starting April 28th. You will have to go directly in iPeople to check your tasks and notifications.
- Integrations between iPeople and third-party systems will not run on April 26th and 27th but will be reconnected after the migration.
- We are working with IT to understand the impact on the mobile app and will provide further guidance later.
We plan to communicate the changes of the URL as follow:
- Communication to employees:
- Announcement on the Home page of iPeople already in place
- Email from Global IT to be sent close to the migration
- Banner in ServiceNow to avoid creating Incidents if they cannot connect
- Communication to APAC Hosted employees who connect without Single Sign-on by email.
- Communication to recruiting agencies by email
- Communication to external candidates:
- A sentence will be added in the notifications sent to them when they apply.
- A template of communication will be provided to TA partners so they can share with candidates having issues to access their candidate home account
What is expected from you until the migration :
- Identify if the URL of iPeople is referenced in some documents, PPT presentation like onboarding, knowledge articles in AskHR, intranet pages…You can already replace the URL by https://ipsen.to/ipeople which redirects to the Home page of iPeople. After the migration, the link will be automatically with the new URL.
