Dear HR colleagues,

In previous engagement surveys, you have addressed the topic of change management as an opportunity of growth for our HR community. Change is inevitable. Organizations, such as Ipsen, must navigate the complexities of change, whether prompted by external factors, internal improvements, or the need to stay competitive. HR professionals are pivotal in facilitating this process, ensuring a smooth transition that minimizes disruption and maximizes employee engagement.

This is why it is essential to offer an HR development opportunity dealing with change management. We kicked off our 2024 HR development journey with Feedback for HR during Career month.
Today, we’re delighted to present the Change Management roadmap for HR. From next week until the end of the year (see timeline), you’ll be invited to take an active part in several workshops, as well as eLearning and diagnostics, so that you can become HR change agents and leaders.

The Change Management Roadmap outlines a comprehensive journey for our HR community, emphasizing the critical role you play in facilitating organizational success:

Understanding the Fundamentals

  • The journey starts next week with a remote workshop (June 25 & 27) on Change Management fundamentals “Ever ready”. Facilitated by MindGym, this foundational session is designed to equip you, as HR professionals, with essential knowledge about change management, its significance in driving organizational success, and the various models and frameworks that guide the change process. The workshop also addresses common challenges faced during organizational transformations, ensuring that HR is well-prepared to lead and support change initiatives.

Assessing and Enhancing Capabilities

  • Following the initial workshop, all HR members are strongly encouraged to participate during month of July, in an  assessment (ANONYMOUS questionnaire) on change readiness and capabilities led by MindGym diagnostics. This self-evaluation, reinforced by the Leadership competency model, will help to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement at individual and at HR organization level.
  • Throughout July, August and September, you will be provided with resources such as LinkedIn learning path, articles, and videos to grow your knowledge and awareness about change management.

Driving Effective Change

  • In September, during the HR webcast, a session will be dedicated to the presentation of the results of the global assessment of our HR community by a MindGym coach (individual assessment results will be sent separately).
  • A second workshop also in September will focus on “Leading change” and will be crucial for understanding the mechanisms of change and developing emotional intelligence to engage effectively. You will be equipped with tools and mechanisms to drive change projects effectively.

Your attendance and active participation in these sessions is crucial to generate growth & success among our HR community. As change agents and leaders, you must be at the forefront, leading with empathy, strategic insight, and the right tools to navigate the complexities of change and ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders.

We count on you, stay tuned!
