A quick reminder
- A new Coaching Policy has been written (covering eligibility, approval, funding)
- We have a preferred supplier list for coaching (4 companies only across different levels of Ipsen)
- We have a new Virtual Coaching Platform (through BetterUp) for non GLT (link is sent directly to coachees)
What coaching is available on the BetterUp Virtual Coaching Platform?
- A 6 month coaching journey (which may or may not include a 360 debrief)
- 360 debriefing and development action planning support (over a 2 month period)
Where can I find more information?
- For HR, all documents are available in the HR Community Documents Folder (02 – Talent Management | 15 – Coaching)
- The Coaching Policy is available to all employees on MyIpsen (My HR Corner | Learn & Grow Page)
What do I need to do to launch a coaching journey for an employee?
If it is agreed that coaching is beneficial to support a development need:
- Obtain the relevant business/HR approval (see policy)
- Check with your divisional nominated HR contact that there is a licence available
- Ensure the coachee and coachees manager understands the coaching process and are committed to it
- If coaching is to be accompanied by a 360°, complete the booking form and once confirmed by Abbie or Chantelle, forward the participant guide to the employee
- Follow the coaching journey or 360 debrief with the coachee and their manager (ensuring development actions are captured in the development plan in iPeople)
- Monitor the impact of coaching
