Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Wu to the position of Talent Management, Development and Engagement Lead, Asia, Pacific and China, effective 01 August 2025. In her new role, Angela’s scope will be widened to cover APAC in addition to her responsibilities in China. She will be based in Shanghai and report directly to me, as well as functionally to Virginie Servière.

Angela joined Ipsen as Senior Manager, Talent Management (TM) & Learning and Development (L&D), China in March 2023, after 11 years with AstraZeneca in HR and Talent Development roles across APAC and China. She has strong expertise in TM/L&D, contributing to impactful practices at both companies.

Over the past 2.5 years, she has advanced the Talent roadmap both locally and globally, notably also energizing the local Journey to GPTW initiative with creative concepts. In 2024, she piloted the China GIG program, fostering a development-focused culture and contributing to the launch of the global DevelopMe initiative. Since October 2024, Angela has also led the design and implementation of global Talent Management processes for 2025 and served as a pivotal member of the global DevelopMe project team.

We are confident that Angela’s expertise will play a key role in advancing and supporting the business as we build and implement our talent management, development, and engagement strategy, as well as in strengthening Ipsen’s culture across the Asia, Pacific and China region.
