Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you about the following evolution in the HR Leadership Team:

Effective 1 April, Clémence ELIE will take on the role of Global Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) in addition to her role as Global HR Business Partner Lead for R&D. Clémence continues to report directly to me and will move back to Europe, based in Paris.

Throughout the last seven years at Ipsen, Clémence has made a strong impact across different teams, functions and geographies, most recently as Global HRBP Lead for North America and R&D, and previously as Head of Global Patient Safety. Her contribution has been essential to the growth of North America, the effectiveness of our HR function and most recently the R&D transformation.

As part of her new role, Clémence will shape our global Talent Acquisition and Executive Search strategy. She will continue to build our recruitment capabilities, and partner closely with business and HR leadership to attract and hire the talent needed to deliver on our ambitions. She will lead the TA and Executive Search team and drive a consistent, best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring teams worldwide.

She will continue to play a key role in the ongoing R&D transformation, acting as a trusted advisor to Christelle HUGUET and the R&D leadership team, and be a part of the RDLT as well as the HRLT.

In line with our global “make or break” priorities, Fabienne ASTIER, Global Head of Talent, will continue to accelerate our global talent agenda across the Talent Value Chain in support of our ambition and strategy. A strong emphasis will be placed on the Anticipate pillar, which brings together Talent Intelligence, Strategic Workforce Planning and Team Effectiveness to better understand our people and teams, anticipate future skills, and create the conditions for sustained performance.

Fabienne will continue to oversee targeted executive and SVP hiring, while further strengthening the Develop pillar through Talent Management and our Leadership and Development offer, supporting the growth of our people. Through the Engage pillar—the final step of the Talent Value Chain—Fabienne will continue to lead Culture and DEI, ensuring our talent efforts translate into inclusion and sustained performance.

She will continue to report directly to me and remain a member of the HR Leadership Team.

Please join me in wishing Clémence every success for her new role at Ipsen and thanking Fabienne for her strong contribution to building up and evolving the Talent Acquisition function at Ipsen.
