Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to share that Diane BACHEM has been appointed Global HR Business Partner, Technical Operations and Strategy & Transformation, effective October 1, 2026 and reporting to me.
Diane brings more than twenty years of experience in the life sciences industry, having held commercial, marketing, and learning & development roles at such companies as Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Nobel Biocare, and Celgene. She combines deep business acumen with strong marketing expertise and has developed extensive experience in learning strategy, capability building, and the design and implementation of training programs. Throughout her career, she has successfully led large-scale international initiatives, including numerous global product launches partnering closely with senior leaders to drive leadership development, commercial excellence, and sustainable business performance.
Diane joined Ipsen in 2020 as Senior Training Manager for France Operations. Since then, she has progressively expanded her scope and influence across the organization, taking on increasingly strategic and global responsibilities.
Most recently, Diane served as Global Training Director within Global Business Excellence, where she designed and implemented Ipsen commercial Learning & Development strategy and led several enterprise-wide programs impacting filed force employees across more than 45 affiliates. She has been instrumental in strengthening their technical and leadership capabilities, building global communities, and accelerating organizational transformation through innovative learning approaches. Together with cross-functional teams across the organization, she contributed to the development of award-winning learning programs that received international recognition through prestigious distinctions such as the LTEN Excellence Awards, Learning Technologies Awards, and Brandon Hall Excellence Awards. Through these achievements, she has established herself as a trusted partner to business leaders and a valued contributor to our people and business agenda.
Diane holds a master’s degree in business from ISEG. She has also recently completed an Executive master’s in human resources from Sciences Po Paris, further strengthening her knowledge in strategic HR partnering, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.
In her new role, Diane will partner closely with leaders across both Technical Operations and Strategy & Transformation to support key business priorities through talent management, organizational development, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and change management. I am confident that her strong business acumen, collaborative leadership style, proven ability to lead change at scale, and passion for developing people will be tremendous assets to our organization.
